Aircraft Flight Control Course 2
This course is a 21 hour classroom experience designed as a comprehenisve review of engineering topics relevant to the design and analysis of aircraft flight control systems, state space and digital. 12 hours of classroom topics include: root locus review, frequency domain review, control system design procedures, design of discrete systems using z-domain and root locus methods, design of discrete systems using w-domain and frequency and root locus methods, discrete systems design using state-space control methods, discussion and critique. Three 2 to 3 hour afternoon sessions are offered to provide students with hands-on practical design experience, including: root locus design using MATLAB, frequency domain design using MATLAB, state space design problem, and design simulation problem. Course topics can be tailored to meet specific customer needs.
